
John E. Norton
John Norton graduated from Wachusett Regional High School
in Holden Massachusetts.
He then attended Worcester State College in Worcester and earned a B.A. in History in
1991. John’s notable experiences include
serving as a student liaison to the Worcester State College All College
Committee; appointed as the first Chief Justice of the Worcester State College
Supreme Court; and, in recognition for academic excellence was inducted into
Phi Alpha Theta, the National Honor Society in History.
While at Worcester State and continuing until his acceptance into law school, John worked in the culinary arts profession gaining perspective and insight to how a business operates in the real world. He credits his unique ability to remain cool, calm and collective to his days as a line-chef accommodating the needs of a packed restaurant.
John entered law school in 1994 at the New England School of Law. While a second year law student, he was hired by Attorney Jack M. Atwood of Plymouth Massachusetts. While attending law school at night he learned about the law in theory, and during the day he gained valuable experience of how the courts operate in the real world giving him a tremendous advantage when he graduated from law school. He was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1998. John also was admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts in 1999.
From 1999-2002, John was a partner at Norton & Talham, LLP in Dennis, Massachusetts,
and from 2002-2008 a partner in the firm of McManus, Norton & MacNamee,
P.C. in Hyannis, Massachusetts.
Attorney Norton primarily practices in the areas of criminal defense, civil
litigation and real estate closing services.
John has been married since 1995 and resides in Harwich, Massachusetts. His interests include: hiking, skiing, and international travel. John still enjoys whipping up a culinary treat from time to time.

Stephen F. Gaudet
Stephen Gaudet graduated from St John’s
High School in Shrewsbury Massachusetts. He enlisted in the United States Navy and
served from 1983 to 1987, receiving an Honorable Discharge as a Second Class
Petty Office, then attended Worcester State College and graduated in 1992
earning B.A. in History. Stephen’s
notable experiences include, serving as Student Class Senator, being twice
elected as the Worcester State College Student Senate Parliamentarian, and
during his tenure as Senate Parliamentarian helping draft a Student Government
Constitution which is still in use today.
He also received recognition for academic excellence when he was
inducted into Phi Alpha Theta, National Honor Society in History in 1991.
From 1992 to 2003, Stephen worked in the profession of sales most notably in the field of finances. He spent several years as a mortgage broker and transitioned into investments. He earned licenses in Life Accident and Health, Series 6, Series 63, and Series 7. These experiences give Stephen a unique “real world” perspective not common in most attorneys.
He received his J.D. from the Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode
Island in 2006, where he was also the recipient of
the President's Scholarship Award. Stephen also interned at the Rhode
Island Department of Children, Youth and Families and participated in the Roger
Williams School of Law Defense Clinic offering legal services to indigent
defendants.
Attorney Gaudet concentrates primarily in the areas of criminal defense and
civil litigation with an emphasis on contracts. He was admitted to the bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 2008.
Stephen has three children and resides in West Harwich, Massachusetts. His interests include: hiking, poetry, kayaking and photography.
